The app is a utility for the symmetric encryption and decryption of text using OpenPGP standards (via the Bouncy Castle library).
To function correctly, the app processes the following data:
• Cryptographic Keys/Passwords: Passphrases provided by you to encrypt or decrypt content.
• Payload Content: The text or data you intend to transform.
How is this data processed?
• Input: Data is entered manually by you via the user interface or shared with the app from other applications.
• Storage: The app is designed for „in-place“ processing. Passphrases and sensitive content are processed in the device’s volatile memory. The app does not maintain a database of your secret keys or history of encrypted messages.
• Transmission: No data is transmitted over the internet. All cryptographic operations are performed locally on your device. The app does not send your passwords, plain text, or cipher text to any remote server or third party.
Disclosure of Data to Third Parties
We prioritize your privacy:
• No Third-Party Providers: No user data is transmitted to us or to any other third parties.
• No Advertising or Tracking: The app does not contain any advertising modules, analytics, or tracking SDKs. It does not monitor your usage behavior.
App Permissions
The app only requests permissions that are necessary for technical operation:
• System Flags: The app uses FLAG_SECURE to prevent sensitive data from appearing in screenshots or the app switcher.
• Note: This app does not require or request Internet access permissions.
Data Security
Since the data is processed locally on your smartphone, the security of the data is primarily in your hands. The app implements WindowManager.LayoutParams.FLAG_SECURE to help protect against accidental exposure of sensitive information in the Android UI.
Your Rights
Since we do not store any data on our own servers, we have no access to your data. You have full control:
• Erasure: Closing the app or clearing it from the „Recent Apps“ list ensures that transient sensitive data is removed from the active memory. Uninstalling the app removes all local configurations.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to adjust this Privacy Policy as necessary to adapt it to technical or legal changes.
